"ALOHA ORCHARDS"
A touch of summer came to the ORCHARDS SHOPPING CENTRE - and the sun was shining too! The day was kicked off with party dances and a hula hoop competition - lots of entrants and fun for all - the winner, Victoria Adams, spinning 61 hula hoops in a minute!!!
Steve Still from Petaholics* came in at midday bringing with him a selection of reptiles for everyone to hold and touch - if they were brave enough!! A bearded dragon, a chameleon and a variety of snakes were on show, the largest snake weighing in at over three stone!!!!
The naughty gorilla was in with his trainer and he was running around the Centre giving out lollipops to anyone who could catch him!
The limbo competition was fast moving and Connor Crowther was the eventual winner, with lots of competition from the other kids!
Rory even joined in the fun, modelling his Hawaiian suit for us before some more dancing, a magic show and ballon modelling completed a day filled with lots of entertainment, fun, bravery (for some!) and smiles!
