Dartford Town Centre Xmas Light Switch-on
Date of Event: 18/11/2006
The event started at 2:30pm and the theme was “Panto” – assorted costume characters present in the town were provided by Adam Hoffman.
At 5pm Dartford Christmas Lights were switched on by Alan Curbishley – the newly appointed manager of West Ham. The Mayor and Deputy Mayor were also there.
The young boy in the photographs was the winner of the “Design a christmas light” competition – Daniel Williams. He won various prizes and his design was made into a light which is displayed on the wall at One Bell Corner.
King Rat and The Chaos Brothers from Dick Whittington at the Orchards Theater were also at the event.
